Are Extended Warranties Available?
Extended warranties are available through your local VMI mobility dealer. Contact your local dealer for any information regarding coverage, pricing, etc. Talk to your Local Mobility Dealer for more information.
What is the Warranty on my VMI Handicap Van?
The warranty of our full-size wheelchair vans and Minivans is 3 year 36,000 miles on the converted equipment and 7 year 70,000 miles on the frame
What is the Warranty on my Platform Wheelchair Lift?
The warranty on VMI Platform lifts is a 5 year limited warranty. On all S & K Ricon lifts, there is a 5 year warranty; 1 year parts & labor and 4 years we cover hydraulic parts only. On Slide-Away Lifts, 5 year warranty; 2 year parts & labor and 3 years we cover hydraulic parts only. On our Fiorella Platform lifts, the warranty is 3 years; 1 year parts & labor, 2 years parts.
Does the VMI Modification Void the Manufacturer's Warranty?
No, your manufacturer's warranty remains unchanged. VMI has a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on the handicap van conversion, 7 year 70,000 warranty on the frame.
