Immediately after high school graduation I joined the United States Army June 26, 1985. I married my wife Stephanie October 11, 1986 and my introduction to mobility issues came April 27, 1987 with the birth of my son Joshua. Born with a genetic birth defect (Trisomy 18) it severely compromised his mental and physical development and threw us into a totally foreign environment. I started in the automobile industry in October 1, 1989 and worked at Jordan Ford from Feb. 1, 1991until Sept. 30, 2014 as the Mobility Mgr. On October 1st 2014 I accepted the position as General Manager of Alamo Mobility.
Jay grew up hunting and fishing in the small town of Llano in the Texas Hill Country. He is a University of Texas at Austin graduate with a major in Physical Anthropology and has been in the mobility business for almost 10 years, 6 of those years with Alamo Mobility in San Antonio. Jay is happily married to his lovely wife Lainie and enjoys traveling, working on his home and yard, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals in October. He is often quoted saying "I cannot imagine having a more rewarding and satisfying career."
