The VMI Facility
Our state-of-the-art mobility van conversion facility is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility features the latest in assembly-line technology and CAD software. Every handicap van conversion entails an extensive process that begins with removal of interior components and undercarriage, and concludes with a 200-point inspection and extensive road test.

History of VMI Accessible Vehicles
As a pioneer in the mobility industry, VMI's history dates back to the late 1970's, when the original founders were challenged to build a suitable accessible vehicle for a close family friend. They envisioned a new concept that would elimate the need for the traditional lift, mounted on the side of a full-sized van.
