The unseasonbly warm 95 degree day didn’t affect the attendence at Performance Mobility‘s open house this past Saturday, Sept 10th. This was my third open house up in Portland, OR with Performance Mobility and it was another great event!

Mobility Equipment Dealers sometimes hold open houses or customer appreciation days. These are wonderful events for both the dealership, their loyal customers and potential customers. Typically, the dealers will have manufacturers representatives, new product demonstrations, food, prizes, etc. It’s a great event for many reasons, but mostly to see all the products available on the market. Many times dealers cannot stock everything, but for an open house, manufacturers will send demo units, etc. for customers to try.
At the open house up in Portland, we showcased our 2011 VMI Honda Odyssey with the Northstar conversion, and it was a big hit. With all the advancements our engineers have made with this lastest wheelchair van to the VMI lineup, it wasn’t a surprise that customers loved it! From the 750lb ramp capacity, the durable Durafloor, SURE DEPLOY back up system and the stylish look, VMI has a home run on our hands.
